This blog has been created to highlight the merchants of The Colony, Texas.  A new campaign is being started called "Shop The Colony First" to bring awareness to the citizens and business owners of The Colony, Texas about all of the wonderful services being offered right here in our little town by the lake.

Each day I will post one or two merchant profiles until we have included every merchant in the city of The Colony.  There is no charge at all for a business profile but there are opportunities to advertise.

Friday Focus Networking and More Ribbon Cuttings

There's lot's going on today in The Colony.  To begin our day we have our weekly Friday Focus Networking that will be held at Daily Grind Unwind at 6910 Windhaven Parkway.  Owner of Clean Works, Larry Fry will be sponsoring this week's meeting and providing a breakfast buffet and coffee.  Networking begins at 7:30am.

At 10:30am there will be a ribbon cutting for Cozy Thai restaurant at 5333 State Highway 121.

Then at 11:00am in the same strip center at 5333 State Highway 121, there will be a ribbon cutting for Tony's Pizza and Pasta.  Tony invites you to stay and try their gourmet pizza for lunch.

Ribbon Cutting for Jeff Cain, State Farm Agent

There is a ribbon cutting today for our new State Farm Insurance Agent, Jeff Cain.  There's an open house that started at his office at 4pm.  There's plenty of food and drink including pizza provided by Papa Murphy's.  Stop by and join in the fun.

Jeff's office is located at 5000 Main Street, in the Big Lots shopping center.  Tell 'em Ken said hello.
